attention during the seasons when I'm working, and
be fully present with my family when it's time to step away!

As this extremely hot, love-bug filled Louisiana summer finally comes to a close, we welcome cooler air, beautiful colors, and those gorgeous golden evenings of Autumn. 🍂
With that change of season comes a change to the way I'll be scheduling sessions in 2027!
As a natural light, outdoor photographer, my goal has always been to give you beautiful galleries AND a comfortable, enjoyable experience while we are creating them.
To make that possible, I'm officially moving to a
Seasonal Calendar Format for 2027!
I talked about making this change last year, but this time I am making it official!
2027 Seasonal Calendar Format
🌷🍂 PEAK SEASON: March–May & September–December
My primary outdoor calendar will be wide open during these months!
These are my favorite months for outdoor sessions, with more comfortable temperatures, beautiful Louisiana light, and the scenery I love most.
✨️ Standard Base Rates apply during Peak Season.
☀️ SUMMER — EXTREMELY LIMITED: June–August
My regular outdoor calendar will be CLOSED during the summer months.
Louisiana heat, humidity, and love bugs are no joke—and when we're dealing with extreme temperatures, I don't feel that an outdoor session gives you the experience I want to provide.
June may have very limited availability, depending on weather and scheduling.
July & August will be extremely limited and available by request ONLY.
These dates will be considered case-by-case, and availability is absolutely not guaranteed.
If you have a special circumstance and absolutely need a summer date,
you're always welcome to reach out. ☀️
✨️Any approved summer sessions will be subject to my Off-Season Premium Rates.
🌿 ANNUAL RESET SEASON: January–February
January & February will be my annual reset season.
This is my time to slow down after the busy season, spend intentional time with my family, recharge, refresh my website, plan upcoming offerings, and
reevaluate my business goals for the year ahead.
Regular sessions will be closed during these months,
although you may still see a few exclusive,
limited-slot pop-up minis appear from time to time. 👀❄️✨️
Questions:
🤎 WHY THE CHANGE?
Because nobody loves fighting love bugs,
sweating through their clothes, or trying to smile
beautifully while Louisiana humidity is doing its
absolute worst and melting your face off. 😂
And honestly? Neither do I while hauling around
photography equipment!
There's another reason for this change that's
even more important to me:
My family comes first. Always.
I'm a wife and a mom, and my
family is a huge part of the life I'm blessed to
live. I don't want to build a photography business
that requires me to sacrifice the people I'm
building it all for.
I want to be able to give my clients my whole
heart, creativity, energy, and attention during the
seasons when I'm working—and be fully present
with my family when it's time to step away.
Structuring my calendar around the seasons
allows me to do both.
It means I can show up to your session
refreshed, excited, creative, and ready to give
you my absolute best...
while still making room for the people I love
most. 🤎
And I think that's a pretty beautiful way to run a
business.
